PHOTO: See the Ogun state contingents at the Anthony Joshua Vs Takam Fight

The officials of the Ogun state government led by the deputy governor of the state, Mrs Onanuga alongside some officials and the Minister of sports Solomon Dalumg were all at the ringside to see Anthony Joshua knock out Takam from  Cameroon on Saturday night.

The fight which lasted for ten rounds on referee stoppage, after some damaged has been done to Takam, saw AJ who is just 28, win his 20th fights and 20th career knockout and remained undefeated in 20 professional fights.

It was a delight to watch the fight, and see Nigeria as a country fully represented. The Nigeria flag was part of the flag raised in the ring, and our very own and African best Afro-pop star, Wizkid's hit song, ojuelegba featuring Drake and another Nigerian making us proud in the  UK, Skepta was one of the songs that introduced AJ into the ring. He even mentioned Nigeria when introducing his father to the 78,000 fans in Cardiff.

Happy moments for AJ and Nigeria. But we love 'finished product' sha! and we can claim! Chei! Naija no dey carry last oh!!!
