In the last few months of 2017, we have seen players spending their free time in the classrooms getting more education rather than in the club house. From the likes of Barcelona Pique, to Lewandowski,  Giorgio Chiellini and now, Manchester City Vincent Company becoming the newiest footballer getting a Master degree.

The captain fantastic who has been in and out of injury and yet to enjoy the record-breaking season his team are having, took to his social media to make the announcement of his new achievement of an MBA, with some inspirational message. The message reads: See also www.yellowdanfo.com.ng



"So I got myself a masters.. It’s never been about the degree but I’m proud I took it to the finish line. That journey took me completely out of my comfort zone, uncharted territory. I really sucked at it initially but grit and graft got me through the early stages. Skill came later and style was for the very end. 
 


This achievement I want to dedicate to our late mother. I want to thank my wife and kids for being such a great source of positive energy and motivation. Thank you to my teammates and friends who participated and supported me along the way. I would also like to thank the people that run the MBA course at the Manchester Business School, thanks for inspiring and guiding us. To the young athlete, don’t bet everything on your health, take control of your life and keep educating yourself. Learn and believe that smartening up is also a way to become a better, more complete athlete.

UFC star Israel Adesanya was arrested Wednesday afternoon for criminal possession of a weapon at JFK airport in NYC, TMZ reports.   Pete Davidson’s mom is marking his birthday, as she took to her official social media handle to post throwback photos of the comedian to mark his 29th birthday.  Pete Davidson’s mom, Amy Davidson, posted the comedian photo when he was still a kid to celebrate him as he clocks a year older. The former  Saturday Night Live  comedian was seemingly low-key as he turned 29 on Wednesday, though his mom made sure to draw some attention to her son on social media. “Happiest birthday to you Peter!” she wrote “We love you and you have made us laugh since the day you were born! Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
