If there is anyone that has in the last two years had it tough and rough, but again was able to bounce back, especially in the 2017, was definitely Sharapiva. After failing a drug test and banning, with also her return to what she loves doing the most, which is obviously playing tennis. She took out time to share some deep message of the soon to be last year (2017). She wrote: 

Alright 2017, a moment of reflection...Exactly a year ago, I spent New Years Eve with my best friends along this stunning coastline. Among the many personal wishes I wrote down for the upcoming year, one of them was to be playing a tournament 12 months later. On this New Years Eve, I am preparing for my first event of the year in China.

I might be away from my family, from my friends, my home, far away from an exciting New Year's Eve dinner, with no beautiful coastline in view...but I am exactly where I belong to be on this day. Wishes are powerful and the mind even more so. Dream BIG! Happy New Year!! ❤️

UFC star Israel Adesanya was arrested Wednesday afternoon for criminal possession of a weapon at JFK airport in NYC, TMZ reports.   Pete Davidson’s mom is marking his birthday, as she took to her official social media handle to post throwback photos of the comedian to mark his 29th birthday.  Pete Davidson’s mom, Amy Davidson, posted the comedian photo when he was still a kid to celebrate him as he clocks a year older. The former  Saturday Night Live  comedian was seemingly low-key as he turned 29 on Wednesday, though his mom made sure to draw some attention to her son on social media. “Happiest birthday to you Peter!” she wrote “We love you and you have made us laugh since the day you were born! Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
