PHOTO: El Rufai: I am too busy to read Obasanjo's 'boring letter'

The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El Rufai has called the letter written by former president Obasanjo as boring and does not represent the voice of the people.

The Governor said he is too busy and does not have time to read such 'long letter, while also insisting that the ordinary man and not people like Obasanjo would decide the fate of the 2019 general elections.

El Rufai who is well known for his bluntness, was a former minister in the President Obasanjo government, and also one of those popularly called 'Obasanjo boys'. He seems to have ditched the former president with this statement.
In a short piece a put up on his Instagram page, the Kaduna state Governor wrote:

I have not read Obasanjo’s statement because it's too long and I am too busy. I have no doubt in my mind that we will win the 2019 Presidential election. We will also win our 24 States and more because there are two groups of the Nigerian people; the elites and the ordinary Nigerians. The ordinary Nigerians will win 2019 again, God’s willing.
