PHOTO: DJ Khalid's 16months Old Son, Asahd Partners Jordan Sneakers For His Own Clothing Line

The name DJ Khalid does ring a bell for so many reasons and for the right ones too. The man with so many hit singles and a business man, and  that man that never fails to tell it as it is, a proud husband and father, has is beginning to prepare his son for the future.

This sort of news is never a surprise, as DJ Khalid is well known to want the very best for his son, Asahd, and  this is just one of the numerous deals under Asahd's belt at his age.

DJ Khalid who touched a little bit about his humble beginning, broke the news on his Instagram page of his son's  partnership with Jordan Sneakers deal.  He said:

Today is a proud day for me not only as a father but for the young kid that still lives inside my heart. I was a kid when I was introduced to the iconic Jordan sneaker. It represented everything I wanted to be aka a winner and the flyest kid on the block. With Asahd’s young spirit and creative mind, the collection will offer a range of colorful and sporty tops, bottom, hats, and socks that bring the style of Asahd through the lens of the Jordan brand.
The limited-edition Asahd Khaled x Jordan Collection will debut at the invitation-only Rookie USA fashion show and give Asahd the chance to expand his resume as he will be the designer and model on the runway. The show is presented by Haddad Brands and take place on February 15th at MILK in Los Angeles. The show will benefit DJ Khaled’s charity organization, WE THE BEST Foundation - the Asahd Initiative. The Asahd Initiative is to serve and donate to underprivileged children and was named after DJ Khaled’s son.

Whittier: Many Injured As Driver Run Into Jogging Law Enforcement Recruits

  A driver is reported to have slammed into more than two dozen law enforcement recruits while out on a run in Whittier, ABC7 reports.  According to the report, authorities say some of them suffered “life-altering injuries” that include head trauma, broken bones and loss of limbs. A class of about 75 recruits were running Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise when a 22-year-old driver crashed into the group in Whittier.  The victims and their injuries A total of five recruits are currently in critical condition, four are being treated for “moderate” injuries and 16 have minor injuries. Sheriff Alex Villanueva said at least one is on a ventilator, ABC7 reports. The recruits were all sent to various hospitals in the Whittier area, but the most critical patients were rushed before paramedics arrived.
