Trump To Host Multilateral Lunch With African Leaders

President Donald Trump on Wednesday will host African leaders at the White House for lunch, ABC News reports.

According to the report by ABC News, Donald Trump reportedly invited the leaders of Gabon, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mauritania, and Senegal to Washington to discuss areas of cooperation, including economic ties.

President Donald Trump posted several more trade letters on his social media platform on Wednesday morning, sharing the tariff rates for the following countries that will go into effect on Aug. 1.

The letters show a 30% tariff rate against Algeria, a 25% rate against Brunei, a 30% rate against Iraq, a 30% rate against Libya, a 25% rate against Moldova and a 20% rate against the Philippines.

On the foreign policy front, Trump said he will send more weapons to Ukraine after the Pentagon paused deliveries of the critically-needed supplies last week. Overnight, Russia launched what Ukrainian officials said was the largest aerial assault since the start of the war.

As the president has touted a near completion of a trade deal with the European Union and India, he has yet to release their letter or deal.
