Channing Tatum Enjoys A Rate Public Outing With Daughter He Shares With Ex Jenna Dewan
Channing Tatum enjoyed a rare public outing with his 12-year-old daughter Everly Tatum on Tuesday in Los Angeles, DailyMail reports.
According to the report by DailyMail, the 45-year-old actor and his daughter, who he shares with ex-wife Jenna Dewan, 44, were pictured at the TCL Chinese Theater for the premiere of the anime film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle.
The Cullman, Alabama-born actor provides
the vocals for the character Keizo in the English version of the motion
picture.
At the screening at the famed cinematic
venue, Channing Tatum donned a navy blue suit with an off-white top and black
dress shoes.
Everly donned a satin light blue gown with ruffles,
wearing her blonde locks down and parted.
Channing Tatum recently said that he found it difficult
to impress Everly with his catalogue of films.
The A-list actor, speaking with E News! at the 2025 Toronto
International Film Festival, said that Everly 'has seen tons of' his films, but
she 'doesn't care.'
'She's like, "Whatever, I don't wanna
see those,"' he said of his daughter's response to his movies.
Channing Tatum added, 'She acts like she
doesn't care ... I'm never gonna be cool to her.'
Tatum has been busy as the season turns from summer to
fall, promoting a number of key projects he has in the works.
Speaking with Variety last week, he opened up about
the anguish he experienced amid his split from Dewan, which was only just
finalized in 2024 after a six-year battle.
'Jenna and I are good now, but it was a
painful break to have that fall apart, especially being so young,' Tatum said.
'We tried to keep it together, tried for a year and a
half, but we knew it was... not to go into all that. It's in the past.'
He said of parenting in the wake of the split: 'It's
really tough not to have your daughter half the time. I wish I could just have
her all the time.'
Tatum and Dewan initially met working on the 2006 movie
Step Up and got engaged in 2008, exchanging vows on July 11, 2009 in Malibu,
California.
Tatum and Dewan said in a joint statement on April 2, 2018 that
they were parting: 'We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a
magical journey together.
'Absolutely nothing has changed about how
much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us
on different paths for now.
Dewan and Tatum said there were 'no secrets nor salacious
events at the root' of their decision to part ways, as they just realized it
was 'time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled
lives as possible.'
They wrapped up in saying, 'We are still a family and
will always be loving, dedicated parents to Everly.'
