Molly-Mae Hague Makes Her Catwalk Debut For L’Oreal In Paris
According to the report by Daily Mail, the former Love Island star, Molly-Mae Hague who has been a L'Oreal ambassador for a year after signing a reported seven figure deal, joined Kendall Jenner, Heidi Klum and Cara Delevingne at Paris City Hall for a star-studded show titled 'Liberty. Equality. Sisterhood. Because You're Worth It.'
Molly-Mae Hague wowed in a silver satin gown
and sparkling heels, beaming as she showed off new shorter locks for her strut
down the vast runway.
The reality star turned influencer icon
looked full of confidence after vowing a year ago that she would walk in the
show, instead of sitting front row
In scenes aired during her Prime reality show
Molly-Mae Hague: Behind It All, the mum of one explained how she was asked to
walk in the September 2024 Paris show for the brand.
'They did ask me to walk but I said no. It's
just not my bag,' she was seen telling L'Oreal makeup artists backstage at the
runway show. 'These legs weren't cut out for this.'
Glancing around at Kendall Jenner and other
top models in rehearsals, she explained: 'This is why I couldn't walk, I'm
looking at everybody in here and they are absolutely impeccable.'
'Imagine all the models walking down and then
there's me, I just would have felt really out of place.'
Molly explained that since having her
daughter, her self confidence has plummeted. 'I think having Bambi made me go
on a real journey with my body,' she said on the show.
'I have days where I get up and I don't feel
great. I've got a lot of stretch marks, my hips are a lot wider now. Every day
there's a pressure to look a certain way.'
'Even though this show is all about
empowering women and empowering different shapes and sizes I just felt as
though I wouldn't have the confidence to walk on the catwalk.'
Molly-Mae had a familiar face to walk
alongside with on Monday night in fellow Brit beauty Rochelle
Humes.
Rochelle, 36, is no stranger to working with
the French brand, having walked the runway for them last year during Paris
Fashion Week.
Rochelle joined L'Oréal Paris as their brand
ambassador four years ago in 2021.
Last year it was reported that Molly-Mae, 26,
was the latest star to sign with L'Oréal, in what was said to be a seven figure
deal.
After shooting to fame on the ITV2 show Love
Island in 2018, Molly-Mae is arguably the programme's biggest success story
after building a multimillion pound empire with her work as an influencer,
businesswoman and model.
Joining Molly-Mae on Monday's runway were
Kendall Jenner, Heidi Klum and Cara Delevingne, who mixed with veteran
favourites Helen Mirren and Jane Fonda, with the show also live-streamed to
London’s Covent Garden as part of a three-day takeover.
Ahead of L'Oreal's Paris Fashion Week show,
fans were treated to a takeover of London's Covent Garden to celebrate
diversity and confidence.
The Beauty Backstage experience took over the
famous Piazza, offering an interactive journey across L’Oréal Paris’ beloved
offerings.
As well as personalised skin analyses and
makeup and hair touch-ups, guests got a chance to experience the brand’s
celebrated product portfolio first-hand, with dedicated skincare, haircare,
hair colour, men’s grooming, and makeup spaces for a full hands-on playground
experience.
Paris Fashion Week runs from Monday September
29 to Tuesday October 7, with a host of stars expected to be heading to the
French capital for shows.
Designers including Chanel, Louis Vuitton and
Givenchy will showcase their latest collections, while Victoria Beckham will
present her always-anticipated show in Paris on Friday.
