Celebrity Big Brother's Tiffany Pollard Comes Out As Queer
Celebrity Big Brother star Tiffany Pollard has revealed she identified as 'queer'.
The reality TV veteran,
Tiffany Pollard, 43, who is widely seen as one of the most memorable CBB contestants
ever, is hosting the new queer reality series Slayers: Wheel of Fate.
In a new interview, Tiffany Pollard was asked
how she felt about hosting a queer-related show when such content could be
'censored' in the future.
'I felt very at home. We’re not going to stand back. I say ‘we’, because
I do say I’m queer as well. Because I am,' she told Attitude.
'And I feel that, right now, we have to take
such a stance in this country and abroad. We cannot be hushed. We can’t stomp
out our light in any kind of way. We’re not going to live down.'
Tiffany Pollard also said she feels 'so
feminine and masculine at the same time' and considered her alter ago 'New
York' to be a drag queen.
Earlier this year, Tiffany reignited her legendary feud with her
Big Brother co-star Gemma Collins, who
she didn't always agree with in the house.
Tiffany sat down with This Morning hosts Dermot O'Leary,
51, and Alison Hammond,
50, and took a brutal swipe at the TOWIE star live on air.
Alison brought up how the pair seemed to get
along at the start of the show and Gemma gifted Tiffany some shoes for her
birthday.
'They were designer shoes. I was excited,
this was like a $3,000 pair of shoes,' Tiffany explained.
However, Gemma eventually ended up taking the
shoes back.
'She went into my cubby and took the shoes
and one of the housemates told me 'Oh Gemma took her shoes back sweetheart
because you wouldn't apologise to Angie about the David situation',' Tiffany
went on.
The star then take a brutal swipe and
said: 'I was like 'Honey I would've given you those shoes back' because
her big everything knocked stones out of those shoes. I did look at those shoes
and examine them, they were missing so many diamonds girl she could've kept
them.'
Co-hosts Alison and Dermot looked at one
another and appeared to be visibly shocked.
Alison then went on to ask, 'Are you friends
now? Have you made up? Do you DM each other?'
Tiffany Pollard replied, 'We will never be that
close Alison but what she did say when I left the house, she said 'Well done'.'
Despite any disagreements, the star said she
would do the show 'again and again'.
