David Beckham Pulls On Bumblebee Costume For Halloween

David Beckham appeared to swap the football pitch for pollen on Thursday as he got into the Halloween spirit, dressing up as a bumblebee to promote his new snack range.

The former footballer, 50, sported a yellow-and-black striped hoody and baggy shorts emblazoned with his brand's logo as he posed up a storm on a grey sofa alongside a large bowl of Bee Up snacks.

In another hilarious Instagram reel, David Beckham donned a full bee costume, complete with a giant bee head, as he buzzed around New York City for the day.

Later, the star returned to his Instagram Story to share a funny snap of himself snoozing in a chair with a bowl of snacks resting on his lap as he took a well-earned break after his busy day.

He jokingly captioned the post: 'Long day running around New York', followed by a sleeping and laughing emoji.

David's post comes after he and his wife, Victoria Beckham, hinted that a potential reconciliation with their son Brooklyn could be on the horizon, as they praised their estranged son's kitchen skills.

Despite their feud, Victoria and David Beckham have continued to support their son from afar and last Thursday, they praised his cooking abilities following his social media post.

The former Spice Girl and footballer 'liked' his new video on Instagram as he made buttermilk pancakes for his fanbase.

Posh Spice and Becks' public interaction with Brooklyn comes after he failed to support Victoria's Paris Fashion Week Show and the premiere of her Netflix documentary earlier this month.

But this could be the biggest hint yet that a family reconciliation is on the cards after months of feuding.

In a recent interview, Brooklyn's mother, Victoria, spoke about the 'changing dynamics' in her family in the midst of her feud with her son.

The fashion designer appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper and spoke about her 'close family', but did not reference Brooklyn directly.

Victoria shared how she tries to create a 'safe forum' where her children are able to come and talk to her about any issues they may have.

She said: 'I mean, we're such a close family and, you know, communication is key and we always let them know that anything that they want to talk about, you know, this is a safe forum. You know, that's really important.'

Pressed on how she and David Beckham deal with the changing dynamics in their family, she insisted: 'Again, it's just about communicating.

'We've always been that way with the kids. And I'm excited for them, they're all very different. They all like to do different things.'

Brooklyn is said to have become increasingly estranged from the family after failing to attend any of his father's 50th birthday celebrations in May.

In what appeared to be an olive branch to her son and his wife, Victoria included footage of Brooklyn and Nicola in her docuseries, despite their estrangement.

In scenes filmed at Victoria's September 2024 Paris Fashion Week show, the designer launched into an emotional monologue about her desire to make her family and colleagues proud.

The montage cut between images of Victoria's collaborators, with Brooklyn and Nicola seen mingling with guests in the background.

The rest of Victoria's family - husband David and kids Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14 - all got more screen time and were shown proudly sitting on the front row, ready for the show.
