Cardi B Supports Boyfriend Stefon Diggs In New England Patriots Victory
Cardi B took one of the best seats in the house to cheer on boyfriend Stefon Diggs and the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon.
The pregnant rapper joined Patriots owner Robert Kraft, 84, in his luxurious VIP suite to cheer Diggs on against the Atlanta Falcons.
Cardi B had plenty to cheer, albeit in a very tight game, as the Patriots fought hard to beat the Falcons 24-23.
Diggs
scored a touchdown in the second quarter, taking an 11-yard catch in the end
zone for his second touchdown in as many games for the Patriots.
His
girlfriend mimicked his celebration in the VIP suite, putting her left hand
over her face and waving her right hand.
Another
standout moment was when Diggs reeled in a stunning 21-yard catch from Patriots
quarterback Drake Maye,
who looks better with every game in the NFL.
The 31-year-old Diggs also made NFL history on Sunday with his girlfriend watching on. He became the 29th player in history to record 900 receptions and was also the fifth-fastest player to make the landmark, with 153 games.
Diggs
ended the game with three receptions for 38 yards and one touchdown as the
Patriots continue to gather momentum as the season progresses.
In
September, the rapper announced that she was pregnant with Diggs' baby during
an interview with CBS.
Cardi
B said: 'I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I'm doing all this work.
But I'm doing all this work while I'm creating a baby, me and my man, we're
very supportive of each other.'
She
then opened up on her happiness with Diggs, saying: 'He just makes me feel safe
and very confident and very strong.
'He
makes me feel very confident. And it makes you feel like you could take over
the world.'
She
released her second album, titled 'Am I The Drama?' on September 19 and it went
to No 1 on the Billboard 200.
Sunday's
win for Diggs and his team move the Patriots to 7-2 and they lead the AFC East
with the Buffalo Bills meeting the Kansas City Chiefs later on Sunday.
Next
week, the Patriots meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
