Olivia Attwood Reveals She Was Cruelly Shamed By Female Presenter Over Her Cosmetic Procedures
Olivia Attwood has opened up about a humiliating experience with a TV presenter who criticised her cosmetic procedures.
The former Love Island star, 34, called the encounter
'one of the worst experiences' she has ever had.
Known for being open about her aesthetic choices, Olivia Attwood
frequently shares details of her enhancements with fans.
She even fronted the documentary series The Price
of Perfection, which is now said to be heading into a third season.
Appearing on her new podcast, Olivia's
House, the reality star revealed she was left in
an uncomfortable position when a presenter said her procedures had
made her look older.
Olivia Attwood said: 'I had an experience with a female
host and one of the worst experiences that I've probably had in an interview
because I felt like she didn't want me there…
'I was meant to be promoting the documentary
and everything I'd learned about the industry and she very much wanted to make
it about me and what I looked like.'
Olivia Attwood continued: 'She said in her second
question, she said, "So you, what have you had done?" And I was a bit
like, whoa… I'm talking about the cosmetic industry as a whole.'
'She goes, "I don't know what you were trying to
achieve, but you look a lot older 'cause of what you've done to
yourself".'
'It was really one of the worst experiences that I've
probably had in an interview because I felt like… I felt like she didn't want
me there.'
'When I left that studio… I remember for 20 minutes I
just sat in silence and I was like, "What? What just actually
happened?".'
Olivia Attwood kept tight lipped over the identity of the
presenter, as she added that the situation felt 'wrong'.
'It just felt just very like tonally wrong for a show
that is meant to be about a safe space for women and uplifting women…
'It was just a really horrible experience and it stayed
with me for a little while,' she said.
Elsewhere in the podcast, Olivia
was incredibly honest about the problems she has been having since tying
the knot with husband Bradley Dack.
And in a new episode of her podcast Olivia’s House,
Olivia admits that marriage to the footballer, 31, is 'really hard' as she
opens up on divorce rumours.
The couple met in a nightclub in 2015 and dated on and
off for three months before the romance fizzled out and Olivia decided to go on
Love Island.
They reunited in early 2018 and married in a lavish
ceremony in Knightsbridge in June 2023.
Olivia said: 'It's no secret. We had a bad summer and I
think that there was stuff going on on both sides…. At the end of day marriage
is really f***ing hard.
'The rumour mill was in full swing about us having a
divorce and there were source quotes going out…'
And talking about those cosy pictures of Olivia and Pete
Wicks at an Ibiza boat party back in July, Olivia admitted it caused a big
problem back at home.
She said: 'I’ve been pictured like, you know, with my
mate from my radio show [Pete Wicks… he’s already p***ed off at me.'
'At that time, we really weren't getting on very well… I
didn't like the idea of forcing photos out onto my Instagram to pretend we're
really happy when we weren't.
'I've been in Ibiza; I've been pictured with
my mate from my radio show being too close… he's already p***ed off at me.
'I'm not going to be like, "okay, now you have to
come with me to a red carpet and stand next to me and pretend like we're really
happy". I actually think I'm tempting fate by forcing that narrative.'
Olivia said she had to deal with the fall-out from those
pictures and said: 'Everyone overreacted to f*** me, going to Ibiza, oh my God.
Like, I am going to live my life.
'Sometimes you need to blow out, but it’s not a long-term
sustainable tactic for balance. I got into a bad habit of doing that.'
