Victoria Beckham And Nicola Peltz: Fans Back Brooklyn’s Mum
Another awkward moment between Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz has now gone viral as fans have claimed that Brooklyn's mum 'is not the problem' amid the huge family fallout, Daily Mail reports.
On Monday the aspiring chef, 26, published a
scathing six-page statement about his family where he said he has no interest
in reconciling with them, including dad David.
Despite once proudly declaring he was a
'mama's boy', Brooklyn focused on Victoria Beckham in the statement, with his
vitriolic comments reportedly leaving her 'on the floor in pieces'.
Among Brooklyn's long list of claims was the
accusation that his mum 'hijacked' his first dance at his wedding and
'danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone', before accusing his
parents of trying to ruin his relationship.
Now four days on from the statement a clip of
another viral moment between Victoria Beckham and Nicola from October 2022
during Paris Fashion Week has been doing the rounds on TikTok.
It shows Nicola speaking to a blonde
woman at an event while Brooklyn's younger sister Harper stands nearby.
Nicola stands with her back to Brooklyn and
Victoria to have her conversation while Victoria appears to awkwardly hang
around behind her and struggles to be brought into the conversation.
Sharing the clip one TikTok user claimed: 'Leaked footage
from 2022 of the Beckhams, Victoria is not the problem…'
Under the video fans gave their divided
opinions as some claimed: 'Even when talking to someone you turn and at least
say hello and excuse yourself and say you're talking to a friend and won't be
long.'.
'Having a conversation that didn't include
queen Victoria? How dare she?',
'I never heard anything good about Nicola.'
Other leapt to Nicola's defense however as
they penned: 'She's talking to someone she's not being rude.',
'If she's talking to someone what's the
problem.',
'What are you taking about… she’s having a
conversation.',
'she was chatting to someone . not rude at
all.'
It comes as Brooklyn and
Nicola had the biggest smiles on their faces in their first sighting since the
statement.
Despite the eyes of the globe being on the
controversial couple amid the family drama, on Thursday they enjoyed a carefree
walk with their dog in Malibu, with their arms around one another.
It marks the first outing for Brooklyn and
the actress, 31, since they released a statement denouncing his family and
pledging his allegiance to his wife.
But in stark contrast to his withering
words, Brooklyn appeared happy and relaxed as he strolled along the beach with
Nicola and their rescue dog, Lamb.
Part of the statement included an accusation that Victoria refused to
help when Nicola asked for her support to help save displaced dogs during
the Los Angeles fires at
the beginning of this year.
This apparently came as a big blow to the
couple who had previously 'dropped everything' to support his family
at fashion shows, parties and other media events.
On the walk, Brooklyn and Nicola seemed more
loved-up than ever, following his accusations that his parents attempted
to sabotage his relationship with his wife rather than supporting their
marriage.
Nicola opted for coastal chic in a cream knit
poncho and a pair of blue jeans with ballet pumps, accessorising with a pair of
stylish shades.
The casually-dressed star was carrying a
takeaway coffee cup and snuggled into Brooklyn, who walked with his arm wrapped
around his wife.
Brooklyn was dressed in a slouchy brown
jumper and dark trousers, which he styled with slip-on shoes and a backwards
baseball cap.
Across the pond this week, his family were
met by the news of his jaw-dropping statement, which has grabbed headlines all
over the world.
Since the announcement, they've been busying themselves, with his
brother Romeo arriving in Paris with his girlfriend
Kim Turnbull for Fashion Week and their youngest brother
Cruz promoting his new music.
Brooklyn's father David is currently in
Davos, Switzerland, attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) speaking about
media and youth.
He avoided discussing his eldest son, but did
touch on his belief that children should be allowed to make their own mistakes.
Meanwhile, Victoria is in the UK and hasn't
been sighted since the claims were published. She has only posted online to
promote her eponymous fashion brand and wish her former Spice Girls bandmate
Emma Bunton happy birthday and celebrate son Cruz selling out his gig.
Cruz sold out his upcoming live show on
March 27 at The Courtyard Theatre just hours after tickets went on sale.
Following the news, he told his fans on
social media: 'UK... Absolutely no words, thank you a million. Looks like I'll
have to be adding more shows?!?'
Notably, Cruz added the Spice Girls track Who
Do You Think You Are? to his story.
His proud mum Victoria shared his sell out
announcement as she simply said 'wow'.
Victoria Beckham is said to be 'devastated'
by Brooklyn's latest blow, after taking the brunt in the vicious family
fallout with the couple.
Despite once proudly declaring he was a
'mama's boy', Brooklyn focused on Victoria in the statement, with his vitriolic
comments leaving her 'on the floor in pieces'.
Among Brooklyn's long list of claims was the
accusation that his mum 'hijacked' his first dance at his 2022 wedding and
'danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone'.
On Wednesday, Brooklyn's wedding DJ Fat Tony
waded into the claims, sharing a video of Lucy Punch's character Amanda in BBC
sitcom Motherland dancing wildly to the Lil' Kleine and Ronnie Flex
track Drank & Drugs in front of her school mum friends.
The clip was captioned 'POV: Victoria Beckham during
Brooklyn's first dance' and Fat Tony added the words: 'Actual video footage
it’s true I was there!'
Tony's partner Stavros Agapiou has also backed up Brooklyn's
'inappropriate' dancing comment.
'I was there and she did, he's telling the
truth,' he said in an Instagram comment, which has since been deleted -
with Stavros instead posting: 'Good on him for finally speaking out!'
Brooklyn claimed he had 'never felt more
uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life,' after Victoria's
dancing.
He announced on Monday that he has cut all
ties with his parents and does 'not want to reconcile with my family', adding,
'I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my
life.'
Brooklyn and Nicola have been at the heart of
the acrimonious divide that has resulted in them snubbing all significant
family celebrations over recent months, including his father Sir David's
milestone 50th birthday and knighthood.
In the wake of the fallout, Victoria has
bagged her first ever solo number one after a huge social media campaign
pushed her to the top of the chart.
Victoria's 2001 single Not Such An Innocent
Girl, a track which showcased Posh Spice's raunchy dance moves, has shot to
number one on the iTunes chart in the UK and Ireland.
The chart positions have been driven by a
social media campaign which is determined to 'fix the national tragedy' that
'Victoria is the only Spice Girl without a solo #1.'
'Nothing says "British Culture" like collectively deciding to
send Posh to the top of the charts because her son roasted her on Insta.
Imagine both their faces,' reads a viral post on Instagram which has been
shared by the likes of Katherine Ryan and Luisa Zissman.
