After a disappointing season in the 2015-2016 league season, one would have expected Arsenal to respond positively- aggressively  to the disappointment of last season, and kick start the new campaign on a flying note; but that was not the case, rather it was something Arsenal fans world over didn’t see coming....maybe some did...only Wenger can tell...less than average performance thus far from the Gunners... Liverpool came, and ran home with five spectacular goals and three points...then it was the turn of the reining champions, Leicester city, and it was a goal less draw...a lucky escape though, with the Musa penalty not given, it would have been two –in-two, with zero point..

Even the sport minister can do better... According to report, Arsenal’s quest at landing Centre-back has hit a major setback, as no club is willing to sell at anything less than 25million pounds...not even a first team player oh! But team player for that matter for a top club such as Arsenal... The likes of West Brom already valued one of Arsenal’s target Evans at £30 million , who is already 28...and Southampton are not ready to let go of their defender Fonte... As for their main target, Shkodran Mustafi, given the craziness going on in the transfer market, the Valencia club are no longer willing to sell their player for £25 million but are now asking for £45 million!... Wenger is still confident of bringing in a centre-back, but he may have to splash out – with Mustafi’s valuation also rising sharply
